there has been alot of confusion regarding the 10% pair work for MIEC.

what you guys have to do is:

1) print out 2 hardcopies of the article and analysis. hand in 1 to bcomm teacher and the other to MIEC teacher.

2) save your analysis in doc. format [2003 format instead of 2007] and then upload it into safeassign at mel by 6pm on wednesday, 29th jul.

3) also remember to also print out the peer appraisal form [NOT the peer evaluation form] and appraise your partner. hand it in to miec teacher.

any doubts on citation... dont ask me. but use the sites the school has given us:

*29th jul - bcomm short report test.

learn your formats and bring writing materials. no laptop needed for that lesson

1. Lectures

-fmm guest lecture on monday from 11 to 12 at LT68E

-no bstats lecture on monday from 2 to 4 [thus our day ends at 2pm]

-no fmm lecture on thursday from 12-2 [we had the guest lecture on mon]

- miec lecture as usual. rmb to bring a copy of the past yr econs paper. she'll b going thru and doing revision. dont miss this lecture

2. deadlines

- those who havent presented an article for ITR have to do it on 27th jul.

- fmm tutorial 9. go dl now if u havent

- 29th jul is deadline for miec/bcomm integrated article softcopy. submit via safeassign on mel. then hand in the hardcopies during bcomm and miec tutorials

-31st jul is CATS presentation and te deadline for the self reflection on how has cats helped you. good luck! [it's also my mother's birthday sia]

hello everyone =] tomorrow will be the day of our field trip.

those going ACM are: estella rina adeline cheryl lipin jiale junwen and vanessa.

meet at 9.15am at raffles place if you are not eating breakfast. or at 8am if you are eating mac breakfast =] i encourage to all to eat because our timetable doesnt rly have time for us to eat. but we have shuttle which brings us from ACM to expo.

for the rest at expo, make your own way there cause there's no bus provided. please meet at expo foyer 1 [it is between hall 2 and 3], which is quite a distance from the expo mrt station. so.. come earlier to be able to walk there on time! after the trip, we are gonna board the shuttle back to school for bcomm. life sucks.

here's the timetable:

9.45am - be at entrance foyer of ACM

11.30am - depart ACM for EXPO

12.15pm - Meet at foyer 1 of Expo

1.30pm - RETURN TO NP

rmb to eat because there's really no meal time.

attire:

smart attire - shoes with smart jeans/pants/skirts and smart shirts/blouses/polos.

no slippers, mini skirts, berms, shorts, cartoon tees and 'torn' jeans

hello everyone in tr01. it's been a long time since i've posted but YOU ALL COULD POST ALSO MA. you guys must go upload your fmm and itr tutorial answers here!!!!

ok and on thursday, remember that we are going to ACM and EXPO. for ACM ppl, we can meet at raffles place mrt and walk to ACM together. confirm with you all tomorrow =] vanessa the chio will send a mass message.

on a more serious note. exams are coming in a month and the exam timetable is already out on npal.

Bstats: 21st aug, 9am to 11am
ITR: 25th aug, 2pm to 4pm
MIEC: 27th Aug, 9am-11am
FMM: 28th aug, 2pm-4pm

aww our exams end on the last day of school. thats sad, we wont get to hv a longer holiday. its time to study people.

hi. its me! Shuangyu. think this is my first post. but anyways. the blog is dead. so i shall save it. haha. remember to do MIEC tutorial for tomorrow! Nathan will be checking. haha. and YAY!! itr-fmm is finally over! dont worry about it anymore. its over. lets move on with life! we all know we did our best :D
hmmm. anyways. something random. anyone knows when is the study break? please tell me if u do! :D
meanwhile. we should complete our MIEC pairwork and CATS for those who have. deadline is next week if im not wrong. hees.

It's Sunday AGAIN and tommorow is the start of week 13. This week's gonna be a real busy week for us! here are the upcoming events :D and one thing to do...

IMPT THING TO DO FOR FMM-

upload your river fest slides onto MEL > FMM > TR01> File exchange

(actually i wasn't really listening in class so im not sure if it's under file exchange, group blog, group discussion board or what but JUST GO UPLOAD AND BE CHIO ALRIGHT?!)

1) Wednesday, 15th jul :

Bcomm presentation I (the 1st 3 grps)

2) Thursday, 16th Jul :

Bcomm presentation II (next 3 grps) &

BSTATS test

- Lecture 5 (Discrete Prob Dist) up to and including Lecture 7 (Sampling Distribution) .

- 5pm - 6.30 pm (BUT BE THERE AT 4.40pm)

- LT 38 (LOL SOUNDS LIKE AN EASY PLACE TO CHEAT)

3) Friday, 17th Jul:

5.00pm is the DEADLINE for handing in your FMM-ITR Proposal, both hard and soft copy. Softcopy to be submitted through “Safeassign” site on MEL.

Please bring your reports to level 9 and deposit in into the project box titled "FMM & ITR Integrated Group Assignment.

Reminder: Before submitting your report please ensure that you have done the following:-

Proper binding for your report and placed into an envelope with the names of group member tutorial class on the envelope.

All group members have signed on the Plagarism Declaration form and the form is attached with report.

All group members have filled in a Peer Evaluation form (download from ITR Project/Assignments folder) and placed it together with your report in the envelope.

*Note: Vanessa the CHIOBU would buy the BIG envelopes for the class using the class fund if you guys don't have.

oh and one last thing. in week 15 (20th & 21st jul), there would not be any ITR tutorial and lecture (if you dont believe me, check mel) as it is presentation week and the chio teachers are busy grading everyone's presentation for their Integrated Project.

Our timeslot for presentation would be on Tuesday 21st Jul (during FMM tutorial), 2pm - 5pm.Remember that you guys are gonna be part of a DMC that day so dress well to seduce the teachers ;)

no important dates to remember this week but do note that BSTATS test is on next thurs. Bcomm presentation is also next week. and so is the deadline for the proposal for your Integrated Project. time really flies, exams are coming, dont be too stressed =]
